note: The lines of this prayer were comments made by different participants in a meditation group of the Hesed Community and were noted down by Vanderheiden who had sat down to prayer with the group that day seeking some kind direction for the Justice Conversation project. A couple of small adjustments by the group leader, Donna Lack, transformed it into a prayer that was then shared with that and other communities.

Help us to make a container for people to listen
Make a space for people to move into
Make a bowl to hold the grief and joy of each other
When we empty our bowl, God fills it with Love
Love is the foundation of Justice.
